$1B Transportation Company – Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Transformation Across 15 Legal Entities Goes Live July 1.
A $1B transportation company with 15 legal entities engaged us to lead a turnaround of their Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance implementation, which included GL, AP, AR, SKSoft, Cash & Bank, 20 Boomi integrations, and 28 Microsoft Fabric–based reports. This project was referred to us by one of the Big Four consulting firms due to significant delivery challenges: limited business engagement, high technical and operational complexity, and the absence of disciplined project management and Microsoft best‑practice methodology. Upon taking over program leadership, Terri re‑established governance, rebuilt cross‑functional alignment, stabilized the technical workstreams, and drove the program through a successful July 1, 2026 go‑live. The effort unified financial operations across all companies, delivered a modern integration architecture, and positioned the organization for future phases including HR, Payroll, and advanced analytics.

This four-year project went live October 1, 2024. This digital transformation project gave this client an integrated system that starts with the sales prospect, that turns in a customer, that purchases a contracted service, that service becomes a project where team members bill time and expenses, the end customer is billed for that service, and accurate financial reporting is produced. This was a 44-person team that included IT and Business professionals and took 1 year to deliver once Terri was appointed Program Manager.
